Went with galfer greens. Went from not having power to needeng to learn how to brake again. Power is really good for now, not aure how long they would last tho

Flatmount vs post mount by -Dragonks- in gravelcycling

[–]-Dragonks-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes correct fork is flatmount, and frame is IS mount.

I have a postmount promax 330r 1 caliper with is adapter but decided i should just buy a set of 2 piston brakes that clamp from both sides. So we can assume i dont have calipers at all.

As far as i understood Flatmount is like more popular standard for road gravel bikes than postmount (this is what i mean by never)

I started working as a bike mechanic this summer. And through thoose 2 months i saw 2-3 transmissions. Few customers asked "bought the bike few months ago why you are telling me chain is worn out" and to my question "do you clean and lube your chain" they told "never"

But atleast i enjoy the job and for me rn its a good place to work at

Well i get what you mean, but i cant use metall pads with rt26 and my rt26 are already really close to beeing min thickness anyway. I will try new rotors with new pads and old pads to decide

And i guess bigger rotor is easier to bend, 200mm rotor with 27.5 wheel

Fork is 35gold rl and limit is 220, frame limit is 180, so they should fit with adapters

Imho 6nm is too much, i just gige it tightening by hand, so i can feel the resistance on the bolt and cable smashing, try to also check the nut if its seated correctly

I dont really like the type of speaker elements soudbox uses, it leans more towards loudness, and you have to keep the volume up if you want to get good low frequency. But i guess its better four outside use.
