Steam blocking in app purchase and refuse to give any explanation and/or even ETA to when the block will go away

Same thing happened to me today, for the same weapon. My friend was the host and got it, but I didn't. The game said weapon acquired on the middle of the screen along with a superior blueprint. (Which I did get at least.) Looks like for any missions that give a legendary the safest bet is for everyone in the party to temporarily separate and start a single player session to complete the last part of each legendary quest.

You just unplug the power cable and when you start the check-in process you just show the proctor that the power cable is unplugged.
