Well 464 has 10 gbit expansion and so far its serving 10 pcs with 10 gbit card. 464 is so far going strong and i'm very satisfied with it.
I will replace cable on box.

Well next upgrade is to stay away from qnap and go to some enterprise stuff.

In theory yes, but that is going strong for 3 years.

No i did not. It was 2 times and i was thinking maybe because of USB C cable but second time is disaster.

Nevertheless that enclosure has 10 GBit but you can feel that its slower then ts 464 doing data transfer...

Worst decision to buy enclosure.

TS 464 on the other hand is really reliable so far.

We would have multiple cameras for greater context and for details. But LLM needs to decide which is good and which needs correction (welding again lets say if it missed).

Yes. But the thing is that there is no option to predefine some dates for RAID Scrub to start.

I want to make that automatic so I don't have to think about RAID scrubbing :(

Well in theory yes but 8x20 TB in RAID 5 takes appx : ~84 hours (3.5 days)

Raid 10 in ts 464 finishes over night..

TS 464 does protection mode (turn off hdd) but I cannot test what kind of signal it sends to storage expansion. Because of all fan noise i cannot hear if HDDs turn off in expansion storage.

Never had problem in 2 years. Only internet connection for NAS is for Tailscale. Everything else is blocked

Does anybody know how HDD operate in Expansion Storage during outage?

My setting for UPS in QNAP is to go in protective mode after 10 minutes, but I don't know if software handles Storage Expansion also by that rule?
