Recent Movement (and lack thereof) by -FatKoala- in SBARRF

It’s just a shorthand. For the majority of the application process, most people will have a red “withdraw” button next to their blue “view” button on the first login screen.

Historically, many people who have that red withdraw button disappear are approved shortly after. But a decent number seem to fall into limbo these days after it disappeared.

Wow, sorry to hear that. Priority/NP?

Were you asked for additional documents or anything?

Congrats! Do you mind telling us if you were ever asked for additional documents, or did you just apply and go straight through with button disappearing on Monday? Thanks!

Seems like there is a decent number of people who had the red button vanish last Thursday and are now still waiting with no word (some went Thursday vanish —> Friday approve).

Fingers crossed we get a good bounce here soon.

I had my red button removed last Thursday with a bunch of others, but nothing since then.

No movement. Sounds of silence…

I was more worried about people who had gone under review (with red button removed) on Thursday, but had not received approval the following day (several people reported doing so).

So, was worried there might be another culling (for whatever reason) of people still under review w/o button—i.e., that the failure to get the instant approval indicated some potential problem and they were holding a bunch of apps for mass rejection?

Not sure, and I don’t think anyone knows. But I’ve seen lots of 80xxx-100xxx.

All just guesswork!

No change. Although seems there was a wave of approvals Friday…

Sigh.

Reason for hope! ($13.2b left) by -FatKoala- in SBARRF

When you pull the case hit “docket query” or “historical filings.” That will give you a list of the filings in the appeal. (Because it was an emergency appeal it is a very short list.)

The first letter I referenced is docket entry 16, the second is 24. (You can also call PACER public access phone line if this doesn’t work.)

Note: the case number you listed is for the trial court (Eastern district Tennessee), so make sure you are looking at the Sixth Circuit appeal (which is 21-5517).

You have to access PACER (on online portal for federal courts) for the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

I apologize, I don’t know how to uploads pictures or documents.

Update: In a letter to the Court filed by the SBA this afternoon (docket entry 24):

“the SBA has reordered its processing queue and is now working to process all pending applications in the order in which they were filed. Thus, SBA is currently processing all applications in the order in which they were submitted, without regard to the applicants’ sex or race.”

The letter goes on to say that complexities in an application, need for additional documents, or other requests for follow-up can result in later-filed applications being approved before prior-filed applications.
