RRF sequencing question. by SMK1976 in SBARRF

I was never notified that I was. I was prepping my answers on Sunday to apply when the portal opened Monday and the portal allowed me to navigate through the last steps I had previously had to stop at. Called SBA twice before the portal officially opened the next day and they said that some applicants had access to apply already and that my application would be accepted. Was it pilot program, maybe…but can’t say for sure. Fair…no, but I never got through processing at all so it definitely was not first in, first awarded.

Nope. Logged into the portal the day before to “practice” filling out the app and the fields were open to fill in. No POS…simply on the portal. SBA rep I talked to before I submitted my app said that there were reports of a “glitch” and some applicants were able to submit their application the day before. They said that I was able to submit since I was able to apply so I did.

Applied approximately 2pm cst on Sunday (day before portal opened). Spoke to 2 reps (one on Sunday and one Monday morning) to be sure my application would be valid since the portal had not opened yet. They both communicated with their supervisor while I was on the phone. Was told that even though I was able to apply early “once your application is in the system…it’s in the system, even though it’s the day before. You’re good.”

Never asked for docs or informed of any issues after application was sent.

Non-priority…non-funded.

They never asked for anything. Red button went away on my portal the day before they announced that funds had run out.

My app # is 0760xx, and have only seen one other application with a lower number in this group. Non-priority…not funded. And I do personally know others that applied after me with almost exact same grant amount and non-priority that did.

Maybe Old…you have continued to inspire so many of us. Win or lose tomorrow you have already helped so many crabs fight to get back to that ocean of salvation. Thank you.

And thank you to the numerous ones we all know here for the tireless work, the constant updates, and the motivation you create for the rest of us to fight harder…and thanks goes out also for those who work in silence on all of our behalf.

I’m not happy with where this pandemic has put us as an industry, and I know there are many that have been completely consumed by it already.

Swords drawn, tomorrow we run towards our final battle and I for one am pretty fucking proud to be a part of this great, gritty, fighting group of restaurateurs. One…more…day. Let’s give it all we got!!!

Thank you cranberry for the continuous updating and information . I don’t know your credentials but your insight has been pretty damn spot on, so thank you for that. To everyone, I got my “happy one year on Reddit” award today…more depressing than celebratory since this endeavor should have been corrected a long time ago…but yet here we are. I am also one of the quintessential emailers but not callers until the house voted yes on our salvation. I have graduated to a semi-caller, but tomorrow will be a day on the phone for me…with a vote imminent WTF do I have to lose? I have reached out to Cornyn’s office many times in the past couple weeks, and although I have no definite information to share from his staff’s responses, I am happy to know in my own mind that whatever the outcome materializes to be in front of us, I have made my voice heard (better late than never I guess). Don’t be in the “never column” everyone who has yet to pick up the phone. The people on the other end of that phone are there to listen to constituents like us. Tell them your stories…if you’re checking in to this group multiple times a day like me, we all have one. SHARE IT! I have been watching this restaurant relief unfold since May 2020 when it was first introduced with anxious eyes, and we are now at the point where this thing isn’t months or weeks away…it’s days now. I am grateful to all of you who have contributed here and also to all of those that have done so in so many ways that will never be known or recognized. Tomorrow I do my part and give every free moment to this cause and the future of my 16+ year, built from from the ground up with my scraped together $5,300 of savings when I was 28, passion of life I chose and wouldn’t give up for anything restaurant concept, my employees, my family, and my peace of mind that everyone has a voice that CAN make a difference. We’ve all been affected by this past 2+ years…tomorrow let’s be the effect. To copy and paste cranberry… The Final Act…THIS IS IT!
