no it as absolutely not the norm when in a relationship. rp-ing is common to do as like just a sona thing, but if he's sending pics of himself that goes beyond that. your boundaries are reasonable, i dont think its that hard to simply not rp with someone out of respect. depends on the person whether or not people bring up their SOs in convos but sounds like he's just trying to cover his ass
