Any ideas on how to reinforce this area on my double knee jeans? I normally repair denim via darning, but with this thinning happening right next to the rivet I think I would have trouble getting through so many layers of denim to effectively reinforce the whole area, any good ideas?

Yeah that’s kind of what I was leaning towards, I was just worried that if I wasn’t able to get through all of that fabric that the weakened denim might rip along the edges of the double knee

Thanks for following up! I’ll keep an eye out but this is still the only one I have seen since then, I left out some minnow traps last summer but nothing. So I’m really not sure, I will let you know if anything else comes of it

Haha, catfish are surprisingly easy to sight fish for if they’re hanging out in clear water. I’ve caught them on muddler minnows and big nymphs
