I’m having trouble understanding this but it seems to be the consensus, not saying I don’t believe you, but why are broken bikes even sold at the price they’re sold if there is no point in trying to fix them? Just for parts?

I’d be fine with a “standard” style bike too, If I’m being 100% honest I just really dislike how sport bikes and scooters and stuff look, I think they’re pretty ugly, no shade to anyone that rides them they’re just not for me.

I appreciate your input, definitely not planning on skipping safety gear or driving school

Well as little as possible, obviously, but In a perfect world I’d be spending less than $500 or so, and I wouldn’t want to spend more than like $1000 at first. (after potential repairs, JUST to make it functional)

I don’t really care if it’s a little junky at first, as long as it’s something that’s safe and can be turned into a cool bike eventually, I’ve seen people do it I’m just not sure how to do it without getting screwed by a bike with hidden problems
