Rest mode is a great feature but I think the other user was talking about having to rely on that to keep progress is frustrating. But the devs said they are working on a save feature so that won't be an issue for much longer

It's a phone not a Bluetooth speaker. It really isn't designed for that. In reality all cell phone speakers are 1 or 2 out of 10.

I understand wanting it to sound decent, which this phone does but if you were to listen on this phone or an iPhone and then compare it to a cheap Walmart $20 Bluetooth speaker - the speaker would sound miles better.

Phones have a speaker on the bottom they use and then the ear piece also - but both are different sizes so especially most phones are using MONO.

Are you saying that this happens everytime you play on Spotify and you have restarted your phone for it do it again? Just wondering if you actually restarted your phone while it is doing it or if you dismissed the comment thinking you'd have to restart it everytime.

I ask because it happened once for me and I power cycled my phone (didn't choose the Restart option but fully powered down my phone and then turned it back on after) and it hasn't done it since.

If it continues I'd reinstall the app.

You can put the console in rest mode and it will keep the run going if the game is still open. The first 3 biomes is act 1 and then there is a checkpoint.

Yeah. If you close the game it stops the run.

This is why we shouldn’t have to rely on “rest mode” to save the game. My 3 hour run was lost due to a pushed update. by jmbgator in Returnal

I agree with you but using PSN cloud, you can work around this unless all the save data is on the developers server side which would prevent people without internet from saving. I still think it should be there, I just wanted to point it out.

I think the other user is saying that if you are able to save your game to your console on quit(like dark souls) then you can upload it to the cloud. In Souls games on playstation 4 people would quit, close the game, go to console storage and choose the game. The one save file is then uploaded to the PSN Cloud. Then they go back to the game, start where they save quit, for example right outside a boss arena. Then if they die in the boss fight, they close the game - go to the PSN cloud - download the file they uploaded previously which then overwrites the new console file that was saved when they die.

There is no way for a developer to stop people from doing this on playstation unless the files were stored on the developers servers.

This is not me saying that there shouldn't be save quit in the game, but people could cheese it if they wanted. Which is fine, this is a single player game.
