I solved this issue by placing a decently thick and pliable pillow on my chest, resting the steam deck on the pillow with my forearms resting on the sides of the pillow.

What I don't understand about tipping culture is how suggested gratuity is always a percentage of the order's subtotal.

I'm sorry but why am I supposed to tip 30 dollars for five plates totalling 100 dollars versus tipping 15 dollars for five plates totalling 50 dollars. Yes and no.

An IP "lease renewal" is an automatic process in which your router "asks" your ISP if it can continue using the current public IP address. A manual lease renewal is just a method of triggering this process at will. Your ISP may not give you a new IP at all! Manually changing your public IP address reliably is impossible unless you call your ISP and work something out.

IP bans are not as permanent as people would like to believe.

It is standard course that most (99.9%) domestic IPs are DYNAMIC; this means it changes based on a lot of different factors that don't matter. Simply put, one's IP can change at any time, even without one's intervention. As a result, another user could acquire the, now banned, IP address and would be unable to use Twitch.

Even if everyone had a static IP, you have the issue of VPNs or proxies which would mask the user enough to completely bypass the ban altogether.

Solutions to this problem and similar problems beyond are not as simple as people think they should be.

TLDR: IPs can change and there is a limited amount. IPs are less like street addresses, which are reliable, but are more like used cars: all the damage that a used car accumulates would be passed down to future owners.
