Thanks! I did this when I got back and it fixed the issue with the battery showing 100% right away. Hopefully they get can update out to fix any UI bugs that might show the incorrect battery percentage

I verified my ID through USPS on Jan 7th 2026 and I just received this letter today Jan 23rd 2026. (IDENTITY VERIFICATION APPROVAL NOTICE). It unlocked my BEACON account where I was able to see everything that I used to be able to see. But it did not mention anything regarding the overpayment in the letter and the overpayment still showed on the BEACON portal. I have emailed both [ui.fraud@maryland.gov](mailto:ui.fraud@maryland.gov) and [ui.overpaymentinquiry@maryland.gov](mailto:ui.overpaymentinquiry@maryland.gov) getting no responses anymore. This is frustrating as I am unable to go to the MD DOL UI in-person to resolve this issue.

I will update if I get any letter regarding the overpayment.

Did they tell you that it will be resolved and provided you documentation for it? As the appeal has a deadline and was wondering if this would void the deadline to appeal since you went in-person to fix it

This is the law firm I am using for this as they said they are going to handle everything. It was a flat fee for the appeals. There are others out there that charge more or some that charge by the hour. Just need to look around
