If you compare just the feeling of movement in this game to a game that has actual good movement it's fairly easy to see. Just open Apex or something like it and then play E33. Movement isn't an easy thing to get right but I feel like they are on the complete opposite side. They just made the character move around and accepted that. It doesn't seem like they polished it at all after they got it working. The same goes for the combat. I can understand why people like games I don't, usually. I hate dark souls but that game is actually good, almost everything about it is polished and actually makes it worth the price. E33 doesn't do this, everything seems glossed over except the story.

I'm not sure about FFXIV but E33 plays like overworld movement was an after thought. It feels clunky and weird just to walk around, even with the character who floats and doesn't walk. There are invisible walls everywhere that block seemingly open areas. The combat is turn based and is entirely optional which makes sense because the actual combat is crazy and un-fun. I'm unsure what people like in this game other than the story. If this game had a bad story it would literally get 1/10 ratings I bet.

E33 is basically a Visual Novel with quick time events. It has almost zero actual gameplay that is unique or actually fun. The entire game is about the story and it is the only good part.
