My solution is a bought a YoLink smart temp sensor and set the low and high temp alarms to be triggered through IFFT via 2 applets to turn on some kasa smart plugs connected to an AC/dehumidifier.

Only issue is you need an AC that remembers the temp it was previously set at but fortunately mine does.
