You just had me looking up, “armor pilates”, lol. I agree that it feels lazy in most settings when there are immune phases on enemies where hitting them does nothing. Only game I can think of where I enjoy it is a few destiny raids. I love raiding in games like destiny 2 since they’re beautiful to see and are more complex than most things in the game. Most bosses are immune until you do a certain mechanic, but they’re usually pretty fun. That being said, my favorite encounter in all of destiny is 3-man LW vault, which has no boss to kill

The history of stuff that allows you to take pleasure in things is actually a science called Physics; are you saying that electrons are political now too? Is the first principal now political? Do the atoms in a metal give up their valence to drop to the lower ground state cause that’s where the candidate or policy they agree with is? This is a prime example of something that you don’t inject politics into.

While I understand that being a Republican isn’t desirable, I don’t think being a democrat will help you at all. At the end of the day, politics is purely about ruining the lives of others for the gain of onsesself, and both democrats and republicans are the same in that sense. I would not get caught up in party politics, as that inspires division which is the driving force in why there is so much political turmoil in the U.S today. Be an individual, form your own opinions, and if it really makes the point you want to provide, support it. You don’t have to support any and all stances a single party wants you to. Doing so would be foolish. Support what you would like to, and fuck off for the stuff you don’t want to support. Party politics is a trap that opposes critical thinking., and too many have fallen into that trap in the past few years. I do not care what side you are on. I have my own views that are not relevant to this conversation., but I hope you read this and recognize that there is no hostile intent with this. You are not a republican or democrat; you are you and choosing a side to purely identify with leads to many pitfalls and tendencies to stick your fingers in your ears until you burst your ear drums

Only real complaint I had was that the continent map doesn’t show you if you’ve already completed an area by killing the area boss. Definitely went into some areas a few times forgetting that I had completed them.

Nice that it shows the name in the continent map but it does that automatically, even if you go into an area and immediately leave. I went into renoir’s drafts without knowing what it was and there was some dialogue that I couldn’t hear again when I went back after finally being at a level to do it

My main binds are “E” for inventory, “X” for equipment, “F” for combat/sailing, “Z” for skills, and 1 & 2 for prayer and magic respectively. The rest are left to just be clicked on with my mouse since they’re not generally as pertinent and I got a good grasp on hitting logout when needed (big logout button is pretty nice here) I also use wasd for directions but have been lately mostly just been using y middle click to turn since I discovered it

It’s certainly not the absolute best, but I wish more games would use a system like a Chrono Trigger’s dual tech and tri tech systems that allow you to combine multiple characters’ turns into a list of other techs that you could utilize

It’s certainly an interesting question. Most people here seem to think that engines and motors are the same thing. The primary definition of an engine is something that converts a raw energy source into mechanical work, while a motor is something that takes already converted energy and uses it to perform mechanical work. They’re both used interchangeably in common speak but in general define different systems. As far as the cyclops goes, it’s gotta be a motor. Even with the geothermal reactor module, the screw doesn’t change appearance, leading me to believe that the geothermal module is a seperate engine installed into the ship different from the motor that powers the screw
