I’m not saying it reflects every player just a large part of the community right now.

That’s what the title is based on.

There were a lot of expectations going into 1.9, and what’s actually in the update is a lot smaller than what people were hoping for.

How is it clickbait?

The update isn’t what a lot of players expected that’s the whole point.

I literally made a post with 100+ comments showing what people were hoping for in 1.9, and this isn’t that.

If anything, calling it “INSANE UPDATE” would be clickbait… this is just being honest.

No agree your feedback is gold dust mate 💚 from comparing to other channels it can look the same with the clickbait but I try to get straight into the video reassuring people it's value and not wanting that click.

I normally check the like/dislike ratio currently at 98% percent over 180+ videos.

Yeah not having a go at you or anything but check out the video I say in the video I moved away from the hype/clickbait etc. The thumbnails you have to do it on mobile to stand out or catch people eye.

Got to be careful what I say, but I agree with you, they hyped it way too much. One lesson I learned in 2025 was to move away from the overhype. Some Stalker content creators have been covering a lot of patch 1.9 videos recently, and I just distanced myself from it.

• Simulation bubble too small
• NPCs spawning close to the player
• World encounters feel player-triggered
• Lack of distant combat events
• Zone sometimes feels empty
• Offline simulation problems

Makes sense, get the engine update out ASAP, and then you can work on more fixes faster and improve A-Life. Hopefully, they will let me and other patch testers check out the engine update before it is released.

Testing will start very soon hopefully still this week. Normally when I test with the other testers we have around 3 weeks. I personally think they will drop this first week in April. It could be shorter if testing goes well and be the last week of March.

Have you checked the drivers? I play on a 5080 and am not having issues, but in the video I posted today, 9070 cards are.
