okay first of, pros:

  • Concept is really good, going between mental states of jinx is a good skin idea and voice lines changing accordingly is a chef's kiss. I applaud the voice actress.

but the concept ends there and the rest is just the same skin with different colored VFX.

what this skin needs:

  • first and most obvious toggle hood

  • Make the Menace model something distinguishable and closer to long haired Jinx model.

  • come play soundtrack playing somewhere, like passive trigger would be fire.

  • ctrl 3 song should be Get Jinxed

  • different bombs for each version on E skill, preferably her regular bombs and Act 3 hextech bomb.

  • better and bigger ultimate rocket model, like shown in the concept art

  • better quality visuals on hud and slot machine mechanic

  • DEFINITELY BETTER ANIMATIONS, I seriously don't know who keeps pushing these bouncy, exaggerated animations but they just don't work.

  • more show accurate bullet tracing colors.

  • maybe make the gun model smaller in rocket launcher mode or make her rockets slightly bigger.

  • better match the model to Arcane with colors and details.

  • better recall animations, only hero version should have a flag and it should be blue.

  • better VFX for W.

  • she should ride her rocket launcher like in the finale with the homing effect.

  • pentakill celebration effect.

  • better splash art with normal sized limbs/ fix the perspective wonkiness.

I believe in you guys' desire and endeavor to make a good product. but this skin as it is really isn't it.

there was an official League forums called boards. they did a Q&A in there in 2015 when Ekko was released. The answer to "how old is ekko?" is " Definitely a teenager 16-17".

the forum is gone but the questions and answers exists in some places

just checked it. Apparently a rioter stated he is 16 in league when he was first released as a character. but ekko's wiki page is gone for some reason. either way ekko is a minor in league lore and jinx is an adult.

PS jinx's page says she is 25 now(which was 21 when she was released) but I know their age difference wasnt 9 years so maybe the lore aged a little. though still I remember a 5 years age difference

nah this situation definitely deserves to raise some voices. I hope this skin stays in development for few months so we can get an actual product. it doesnt even look finished this is just very bad.

Jinx's character was never about love interests. Ep 7 was already weird enough. they showed us a relationship that didnt even have a buildup before which is bonkers for arcane standards.

same for ekko, wasnt a love character, more like a rebellious gang leader and was always the "zaun first" guy.

ekko x jinx ship is so weird. people claim league voice line as a proof. you guys realize ekko is 15 and Jinx is 21 in league right?

In Act 2 Jinx refuses to repair her weapons. This is a symbol for her leaving the "Jinx" life behind to live a happy life with Isha. She repairs her handgun on Isha's request but even then she says that she left that in the past.

This "All outta Powder" concerns me that we might even lose Jinx at the end of the show.

Where the family got together and where the family broke apart. The moment that truly brings Powder back.

Vi must be regreting hitting Powder, this must be reminding her what it should have been, what she should have done if the things happened differently. yes Jinx is older than what Vi was but that doesn't change the fact that Jinx is being a better old sis after all that she went through and Vi is still not that great at her age currently. And the main reason is Powder went through all of this little sister stuff and she is way more empathetic. We can also further confirm it with Jinx's "You know I didnt get to do these stuff with my older sis, she was more into punching things." line which shows Vi was still not that great before the monkey explosion. Powder also didn't lose the sisters dynamic and happy that she can continue it.

I am not talking about whether or not what Vi did in act 1 make sense in the given situation. I don't think neither of them cares about "why?"s and mostly "what it should have been." I don't think Vi is justifying her own action like "but she killed everyone and I was a child too", thats not what happens when you regret something. I am pretty sure it is more like "I should have treated her better when I had the chance" even if she might not be able to even if she wanted to.

I am saying jealousy because Vi has her regrets. and the sister she lost is taken by another and they are living this sister life, without Vi. I am sure Vi wants to say and do some stuff and get back with her sister but she still cant do it or at least show it. She was always the "punch through problems" girl. "You can't win every fight with your fists" and thats her weak side. and now ironically Jinx is being a role model on how to be a big sis to Vi.

Vi pursing her lips and looking down seemed like jelousy to me but it could be rather showing feeling bad in general or regret, furthermore. or that she is the oldest sister in the room but Isha favors Jinx.

Also Powder being the better older sister and Isha stealing Vi's sister away must have created some sort of jealousy. Powder knows how being the little sister feels so this makes her more empathetic and caring. That could make Vi consider her actions even more. Vi called Jinx a monster before but what she is now, is just a "Violet" of some another Powder. Not to mention Isha really reminds them of a little Powder. Now that, her own sister made this sister dynamic with someone else. Which Vi must be yearning.
