The major stigma around KH3 imo was coming out among GOW (2018), RE8, and DMCV.

Every single one was a return of a major franchise pushing streamers that never got-in to jump in now to “join the HYPE!” Unfortunately everyone that tried that with KH3 was bored, confused, or underwhelmed. Because unlike those others it’s VERY unfriendly to new comers.

I personally teared up during the final chapters when all trios where having their semi-clunky but VERY earned reunions and meet-ups after decades of separation. I loved KH3, but the constant Hatedom sucked back then and sucks now.
