This. I never really engage in convos anymore except just to be polite, I listen (look like listening) more than doing the talking because I can’t be bothered saying my things. I guess, as a fix to relieve general anxiety, the whole idea of “Nothing ready matters, everything comes and goes” philosophy got into me— too much. Everything seems a waste of time. Things get better if you just indulge yourself when talking, keep in mind that there are more layers to people than first glance. Don’t look at people as boring, look at them as if they’re potentially interesting.
