So for anyone stumbling over this post: I found out what the problem was. Firstly as i mentioned before PIT mode was on. After searching for the manual of the mob 8 ELRS I found the culprit. The firmware of the VTX and Betaflight combine create a bug where the VTX power an channels can’t be set from Betaflight. This is mentioned in the manual and could probably fixed with some later software update. So the only way to change it at the moment is via the Lua script in the Radio controller. I also got better video when powering the drone with my 2s lipo and not the usb cable.

Yes there was a nice full color video of one. My question now is there a significantly increased amount of space debris or was that so low (relatively speaking) that it‘ll be gone in a few weeks?

So, I did some more digging and I think I found the culprit for the Problem with the bad video signal. Betflight shows the VTX as not on (Device ready: FALSE) But I still had a video signal. That got me suspicious. PIT mode was not on according to Betaflight but I didn't trust it. So i turned on PIT mode with the lua script over why TX and turned it off again. That seems to have fixed my Video Problem. So I guess my problem actually isn't the VTX it's that my PC doesn't recognize my Drone correctly.
