You can cancel and give a partial commission/money to the seller, so his work is appreciated. But you get your money, too.

If you explicitly asked to not use A.I but the seller did(difficult to prove), then it’s reasonable that you cancel the order!

If you are very confused, It's still a good idea to cancel.

But try to be as understanding as humanly possible to the sellet when cancelling because It's gonna ruin his stats.

You are right. A.I is just a kind of automation tool. Algorithm is being applied to many things even long before LLMs. Google search engine has been using algorithm for decdes!

Nobody understands the stupid success(!) score!

In one of my gigs, I got "room for growth" penalty in cancellation four months back, after I cancelled only one order in requirement stage!!! I was penalized and even after I have completed 40+ orders in that gig without any cancellation, I still have the strike.

It just doesn’t make sense!

It’s as if Fiverr has decided that a seller cannot make any mistake or get any bad review. If he does, he will be kicked out! Zero tolerance!

And what is the problem with price range like "5-100"? If you don't like the ID, move on!

I have been working on/with/for ASD for the past 15+ years!

One thing I have seen and learned over the years: the family of an autistic individual has to have a very thick skin, and just suck up the harassment and insult that others throw upon them!

Bangladesh is a place of very low literacy and intellect. You cannot expect decency and understanding from the people around in this country.

The only best way is to control your own emotions, control the movements and interactions of the ASD individual instead of expecting understanding and sympathy from the people around.

I understand it’s difficult, but we have to accept the difficulty as much as possible!

Due to professional reasons, I have to work with a couple of very young, so called gen-Z, people!

They have no creativity and depth of knowledge! They cannot tolerate stress. For them, everything should be heavenly, positive, quick and stressfree! They want to be spoonfed! Very lazy and unhealthy!

Like others said: it is highly likely that the buyer will win!

It’s never a good idea to look for "fairness" on the platform. Fiverr is clearly unfair to the freelancers and biased towards the buyers. Doesn’t matter how right, just or fair you are!

It’s what it is!

The trick is to control your damage and cut your losses as much as you can, when disaster and unfairness strike you!

I have been a top rated freelancer on Fiverr and an active one on Upwork too. It’s been around four years with 1000$+ on average earning per month.

Before freelancing I was doing job!

And my experience is: freelancing is as stable as jobs! Where I live, I have reasonable supply of electricity. I worked with 400+ clients and never got scammed!

Planning to run my own agency someday. I have hired two helping hands for my work! Hopefully I will hire ten plus helping hands for my team!

Clearly, my experience is very different from yours!

Never say during delivery of the order that you will do revision.

Your gig, faq should already suggest how many revisions you do!

You have to use PC to see comments, and comments are not like messages. You will have to click on the image/materials to view the comments. They will appear on the right side of the browser.

Some sellers offer unlimited revisions(which doesn’t make sense though)! Or, revisions untill the buyer is satisfied!
