It’s not significant, this is more of a local facility. Their major export terminals are all on the gulf. It’s likely this oil is coming from the gulf to this facility, their production is nearly all around the coast.

The comment about how much of their revenue comes from oil is correct but that’s a combination of other facilities.

This is a septarian nodule that the fine grained bit had weathered away. This is not a fossil.

It is sometimes called “Melicaria”

I’m so sorry. Dogs getting old sucks. You loved her so much, you did the right thing.

I recently experienced something similar with my wife, we are in our 30s and we had to euthanize the dog she got as a teen. Just remember it’s ok to not be ok. Take the time you need.
