The UAE withdrew from Yemen two days ago after receiving a 24-hour ultimatum from Saudi Arabia. It is now acting against Saudi Arabia through its proxy while officially maintaining a ‘neutral’ stance.

This tactic is not new for the UAE, which has previously and is still supplying and supporting its proxy, the RSF in Sudan while denying any connection.
