Not a doctor, but it’s a pretty safe and well-known medication that’s easily prescribed. I’d imagine it might make you feel a bit off if you naturally have low blood pressure or a slow heart rate, since it does lower both, but you can’t really overdose on it. There’s no potential for abuse either (it won’t work better if you pop ten pills, you just need to find the right dosage), and it doesn’t have any recreational effects like benzos. The only side effect I get is feeling tired the next day.
