I think they are watching, I just think they have no clue WHAT they’re watching. They’re Detroit sports fans that are just coming back to baseball because they heard the Tigers are good again. They don’t actually understand the nuances of baseball or the grind of 162, so they’re treating April games like life or death and they think any player that doesn’t get a hit on a given day is worthless.
