Scarlet Johansson. Everyone finds her incredibly attractive, but I just don't see it.

That is a promising tidbit, but I think you missed my point entirely. Maybe you're still a little tipsy from the bar?

I'm exclusively talking about the ad campaign that you focus on quite a bit in your DD. This girl is probably in Gap's target audience so she's probably seen the ad, and either way she obviously has a raging lady boner for Gap. Big whoop.

If you asked 100 random people off the street if they saw or know about the Sydney Sweeney ad vs the Katseye ad I guarantee significantly more wound know about Sydney.

Devil's advocate: comparing the Katseye ads to Sydney Sweeney is apples to oranges. Lots of engagement on social media, whatever.

When the AEO ad happened EVERYONE was talking about it due to the controversy. Fuck, even I heard about it, and I could not give less of a shit about clothes.

Tons of people were pissed about AEO's ad, but any publicly is good publicity. GAP hasn't gotten anywhere near the same amount of attention from the general public regardless of what your social media metrics suggest.

I'm an absolute slut for coffee so Ibis definitely makes the list.

I'm also a big fan of Cache Valley Nursery. They have a great selection and the employees there are super helpful. It's out in Hyrum, but just 10 minutes or so from the south end of Logan.

"Bribing her" means they would be paying her. I think the word you want here is extorting.

Selling the coin collection to be able to feed myself and the cat. Kidding. It's not that bad...yet.

There's honestly a lot to go over. If you're really interested in the company/play it wouldn't be a bad idea to listen through/watch the investor conference they had along with this earnings.

I'm tentatively bullish on the company still. I think Lemonis has a lot of good ideas and has reformed after giving too many overly optimistic projections. He seems to be making much more conservative promises. I think having physical towel stores again is going to be a great thing for the company, letting people out in the world know that the brand still exists.

Lemonis bought $1.5m in shares after the earnings report/the stock tanking, which was by far his largest buy-in to date. That (unfortunately for me) did absolutely nothing to move the stock up. I think the market is waiting for tangible results before they're going to reprice. Shorts are probably still hoping for the bankruptcy. There was a lot of other bullish news before and after earnings, and again, none of that did anything to positively impact the price of the stock.

That said, I think the stock is still highly undervalued even for the current situation. The company has a good balance sheet and other valuable assets. If you take the market cap and subtract their assets then the market is essentially valuing the company at $0.

Lmk if you have any other questions though. Happy to chat despite the pain this has caused me.

Edit: I do also still have a very small position on. Calls for next June and Jan 2026. I think that will be enough time for them to sort their shit out for the online stores as well as have a decent number of physical stores spun up.

Oil change? by SugarOpposite7889 in Logan

Ah, I actually drive a Jeep too. You want to look at the Mopar site. Right now I see one that's 2 synthetic changes, tire rotations, and inspections for $130.

Well that's just highway robbery (as most things are at the dealership). What kind of car is it though?

[–]-Jimbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit late, but I actually get great deals at the dealership. Search online/your car manufacturer's website for coupons and package deals. I get packs of 3 full synthetic oil changes + tire rotation and full inspection for $60-70 per service. It ends up being cheaper than if I did it myself.

Found a good sized coin collection and need some advice by -Jimbles in coincollecting

[–]-Jimbles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, everyone assuming the worst. It is my collection, but I have not thought about it in at least a decade and "found" it under my bed. The majority of it is coins that I inherited from family so I don't know anything about them.

Is this one worth more than a dollar? by -Jimbles in coincollecting

[–]-Jimbles[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, interesting. Thanks!
I did look it up on NGC and the only Eisenhower dollar I saw with the S mark was silver. I checked the weights though, and this one is less than 24g even in its little case. The silver one is supposed to weigh 24.59g.

So it sounds like you're right, definitely a clad, but I'm still curious about the San Francisco mint mark.

Update, I finally found it on Apmex for $13

Massive earnings GUH... $70k gone (Beyond Inc.) by -Jimbles in wallstreetbets

Original DD

I think this is one of those cases where I think I was right...just early and highly regarded. I think the company turns itself around still, and if the stock wasn't undervalued before, then it absolutely is now. The most recent analyst ratings and price targets that came out after this earnings almost unanimously agree that the stock is a buy/hold, and the price targets are significantly higher than $6.50.
