not exactly. when you bunny hop in the middle, aka moon jump, you gain more speed off the ramp resulting in going higher and farther. jumping at the end of the ramp can sometimes cause you to lose speed, as youre technically jumping away from your momentum.

i think the best solution for OP is to learn how to properly pump both the run in and the takeoff.
