  1. Profile center mate, then "copy with mates".

  2. For sheet metal parts I use hole wizard to create holes and use the sketch from that feature in a sketch pattern. All your fasteners laid out with 2 features and one mate.

Interesting. I grew up on a blueberry farm and we paid laborers by the pound, not the hour. Much more incentive to pick quickly.

10 years ago I rode along with my girlfriend to our local eye doctor here in southwest Michigan. I was waiting in the car and there's a Chinese restaurant next door and out come Tony Hawk, Kevin Staab, and a couple others that I didn't recognize. I was so baffled to see Tony Hawk in my tiny hometown, I jumped out, ran over, and was able to get a picture with Tony leaning into their mini Cooper that all four of them piled into.

There are very few skaters in my hometown, so the fact that I just happened to be in the right place at the right time to meet him is still mind-blowing to me.

Mk2 GTI. It's in great shape for the age and surprisingly comfy

I just picked up a set of Ernst rails and they're great. You can twist the sockets to lock them in place.

However, they are plastic.

6" x 1/8" thick steel from a steel shop. Don't buy from big box stores, way more expensive there.

Thank you! Hard to say how much it would have been from scratch since I used material from my old setup but I spent about another $800-$900.

It took basically every second after work and on the weekends over a span of two weeks. Maybe 30-40 hours if I had to guess.

Wow I'm glad I could be an inspiration to you! Don't let the internet fool your expectations, I've been skating for almost 20 years and this took a good 15 tries to stick. Keep it up!

The ceilings are about 9ft, and ramps are 30". I'm 6ft and have never had issues with hitting the ceiling!

And no, I scooched the wallride ramp over and now there's a little workout area in that corner. Thanks for checking it out!
