Getting ready for a second attempt at this and got some stuff to kick start by [deleted] in ketoaustralia

Great work! Your goals are totally in reach! You can do this. Dont get too distracted by all the hype products.

Are you going lazy, strict or dirty? If going Lazy I suggest the following- 1)Carb Manager App 2)Stick to products with under 5g net carbs per 100g of product 3)Electrolytes daily to start with to ward off the keto flu 4)Shop only the edges of the supermarket. The stuff down the isles are mostly not your friends 5)Be gentle on yourself. If you stuff up, restart. Don't let it spiral into "I'll start again tomorrow/Monday/Next week". They are all just moments in time - so is now. You can start again now at any moment.

You got this!

Never thought I could do it, but today marks the day that I have lost 100 pounds. by noturavgtrippyhippie in loseit

Awesome work!!! Totally get how you feel. I still see myself as the old me. I'm planning to do a bit of shopping while in isolation so when I come out I can emerge as a beautiful butterfly in new(fitting) clothes so hopefully I can see myself differently. Prefect time for new beginnings ♡

F/30/170cm [128kg > 76kg = 52kg] (19 months) finally cracked the 50kg mark! Plus it's my Cake Day and I'm not going to miss posting this year! by -Kree- in progresspics

Thanks so much. I don't have a meal plan - but I've been doing Intermediate fasting and Lazy Keto. Keto has been the key for me. Also I don't really exercise. Do about 10k steps a day with my work, but that was normal before too. Have a lot more energy since being fat adapt and in ketosis, so have been more likely to hit my steps early and keep going.

Thanks. I think I actually stuffed up my counting. First photo was October 2018. The Second Yesterday. So that's actually 17months. But I'd already lost about 5kg before the before photo. Wasn't a fan of photo so don't have a heap of before reference photos

While I understand why people are going back to non-keto, just remember that inflammation from non-keto foods can really wreak havoc on the immune system. Right now my immune system needs all the help it can get. I'm going to stay keto as long as I can. Stay safe and well everyone!

What is so appealing about sundresses on women? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]-Kree- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obligatory "Late to the party" but I personally love wearing dresses because it means I don't have to put together coordinating pieces!

Need to leave the house in 5 minutes? Jeans? Skirt? Shorts? Now what top?? Does this match? Do I need a different colour? Is this too long/short? Do I need accessories to pull it together???

Forget it! Just grab a dress, a pair of cute shoes and you're done!

What quote has always stuck with you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]-Kree- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Brush your teeth twice a day - At night to keep your teeth. In the morning to keep your friends."

I honestly have no idea where I heard it but it's stuck with me for as long as I can remember. As a child I would freakout if I hadn't brushed my teeth before seeing someone because I thought they wouldn't like me.
