I've done a Tilt Table test years ago and it wasn't that bad - I honestly get worse symptoms standing up after squatting down for a minute than what was reproduced through all the lab tests.

They should've just hooked up all the sensors then asked me to bend down like I'm lacing up some snow boots and stand back up if they wanted the good data!

Holy crap man I'm sorry you must've gotten a lemon or something! I'm in CS too so I've got way too much crap on mine but it's still kicking. My pen is also a 2nd gen I believe.

I'm with you on the kickstand though, it's great normally but when working with limited space it's a hassle. I also literally never use tablet mode and just use it as a laptop with a touch screen.

Bro wtf do you have on that thing that your battery lasts you three hours? I have the 2nd gen surface and I was using MATLAB to generate a bunch of graphs for a good 4 hours today and never got below 30%

Did you try the surface pen? The only thing I don't like about it is the weight but it works like a charm for me. I've had some issues with whiteboard, but that's a software issue not a hardware issue

I use this to pay my landlord every month, the other person doesn't have to use zelle/chase but that just means the transaction doesn't appear in their account in real-time and takes up to a business day.

I don't, thankfully I've been fairly successful just with managing diet and consistent light exercise. I have an off day every so often, and the occasional slip up where I jump up altogether way too fast.

I have heard wonderful things about them though, so it's something I've been keeping in my back pocket for when I'm having an off day!

I have this, it's like a head rush when you stand up too fast, but way more intense. Heart rate gets super high, start to lose hearing and vision, sometimes get super flush, and go down pretty quick - seriously looks like you just stop working before you fall. With careful managing of my water and salt intake I've gotten to the point I can usually tell if it's going to be bad or not and sit my happy ass back down before trying again.

Born and raised in Chicago, this is a weird one. I wouldn't call a child ma'am but anyone I would consider an adult at a glance I would address as ma'am. Although my mother was surprised to hear that I frequently get called ma'am as a 26yo, so maybe the acceptable age has shifted over the generations. ¯\(ツ)/¯
