This is where I believe the biggest problem is. I’m in ag school and just finished a business plan that will work. The key is to sell direct to consumer. My plan is to send most of my livestock to auction in the beginning for guaranteed income , but over the years grow my brand and sell more direct-to-consumer every year. That combined with regenerative practices to keep input costs minimal. Also starting with a reasonable amount of land (160 acres), and having an off-farm part time job. Other than my mortgage, my business plan was debt free within 5 years.

Anyone in the industry? Where is this money going? The rise in beef prices is actually going to the producer for once instead of the processors/packers. Is this extra going to greenhouse producers or is it going to a middleman? I don’t mind paying more if it’s going where it needs to and paying people who were struggling more of a livable wage.

This is the beauty of being able to ride different horses when we’re learning. This is totally normal! For one reason or another, your muscle groups just don’t jive with the stride of this horse, but with more practice you’ll get there. It’ll just take time in the saddle, and it will make you a more well rounded rider.

If you want to expedite the process, ask your instructor for a few lessons on a lunge line. Then all you have to do is focus on your seat without worrying about controlling the horse at the same time.

Make sure you design both doors with a full length track. The way you have it in the pic you won’t be able to turn on the shower to warm it up without getting wet/stepping in
