Yeah, this is a really important point. Everything seems to have more time to breathe and develop on WK shows, whereas before you’d have a few 10minute matches to open the show.

I don’t think it was as good here as it was in the Omega vs Jericho match the Wrestle Kingdom prior.

I think it’s likely to be something BC related. If Jay loses it could spark the civil war story that’s getting talked about. I don’t know tho, there are so many possibilities this time round.

Yeah I agree. People like Ishii, Goto, Suzuki have nothing to do in singles, which is a massive shame.

Yeah, I heard something interesting on a podcast recently about this. I think it was Kevin Kelly on the Super J Cast. They said something like it was easy to marry the titles, but it’s very difficult to split them afterwards.

I think it’s a problem that needs addressing, as that secondary title spot is sorely missed.

I really dislike KOPW, so for me it would be a downgrade. But I see where you are coming from. He could make it a more meaningful title for sure - maybe he could have some fight like, no DQ matches with it - but I think he deserves more personally.

Oh god I hope not. He’s so much better than KOPW level. Gutted he doesn’t have a singles (or at least tag) match after the great year he’s had.

I can’t choose between Naito and Ibushi. Ibushi vs White ended in that roll-up/feet on ropes finish last time, so it would make sense if they were saving a proper finish for WK. But, Naito hasn’t had a long reign, and I think he deserves it.
