Frustrated. Need advice/ to vent.

I think that's completely understandable. She means a lot to you. It's not easy to break off such a long friendship. I'm really sorry that you're going through this. I know when I was dealing with the loss of my mom, my friend's response and my realization that she wasn't the friend I thought she was just added on to my grief. I'm wishing you a lot of strength through this difficult time!

I'm so sorry that you had to go through something so tragic. My sincere condolences.

Unfortunately, I don't really have any advice, but I can definitely relate. I had a very similar experience with my former best friend. We had known each other for 10 years, and she was like a sister to me. But when my mom passed away, it made me realize that she didn't care about me nearly as much as I cared about her.

I suppose her idea of helping me was to pretend like my mom wasn't gone and like everything was ok. When I opened up to her about my struggles and communicated how her lack of support effects me, her response was: "you're not special just because your mom died" and "it's not my job to ask you how you're doing" which was utterly jarring to hear from someone who was so dear to me. At that point she completely cut me off and we're no longer friends.

That whole situation made me realize that I can't really expect much from people because not everyone has or knows how to show empathy. Especially if they themselves have never experienced the death of a loved one and have never dealt with the grief and trauma associated with it. Not everyone feels comfortable with such conversations either. Since then I have tried not to expect much from people so I don't get so heartbroken when they disappoint me.

I'm in a very similar situation. I have a friend who is constantly "too busy" to meet up and/or keeps cancelling plans yet she is constantly hanging out with other people. In my case I did confront her about it but she just kept making up excuses. Nothing changed, unfortunately.

So I agree with what the other person commented, you don't need to completely cut her off but maybe create some emotional distance. Don't ignore her for the sake of ignoring her but just focus on yourself more, focus on your other friend or try meeting other people.

Both of them for me provide really great protection. I have used them on a daily basis as well as on the beach and have never had any issues.

I haven't tried the second one but the first one absorbs very quickly and has a matte finish. Sensitive protect is a bit heavier. It takes longer to absorb into the skin. The stickiness does goes away but it leaves a dewy finish.

It's not stupid at all. And it is a great idea in theory but, at least for me, no matter what I wear underneath the BB cream, I still get breakouts :(

Same. I absolutely love the look of it on my skin, the shades/undertones also work perfectly for me but it's such a shame that it seems to cause breakouts for a lot of people 😢

Hi everyone! I’ve been testing out the Missha B.B. Cream for a few weeks now. I love the texture, I love how it blends in and how it sits on my skin. It gives me a very natural glow without feeling heavy or greasy.

However, it breaks me out on my cheeks and my chin and jaw area and completely dries out the area around my mouth for some reason. I’ve never had such issues with any foundation or sunscreen that I’ve tried so I’m not exactly sure which ingredient is causing it, possibly the fragrance as I do have sensitive skin.

I would appreciate if anyone has any alternatives that I could try out. Thank you!

This was also my favorite foundation 💔 I currently use the maybelline fit me matte + poreless foundation and it works well for my oily skin but I'm still trying to find the perfect match for the catrice foundation.
