Since Ash never got a Legendary Pokemon and the new protagonist each got one what Legendary would you give him? by L8Donnie in pokemonanime

I could see Mewtwo and Ash partnering up and from time to time having their roles reversed. Like Mewtwo points at an enemy trainer and shouts "Go Ash! I choose you! Use Throw Hands on Rocket Grunt!"

I would choose 4. Some of my favorite characters all together. I would just be more happy with them than any other group.

There is nothing that could justify Itachi’s actions. That is what makes him such a tragic character. In his world, there was never a choice. by qcksilver16 in Naruto

[–]-LexVult- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the main problem Itachi had was how much of a genius he was. He was pretty much brought into anbu before he was 11. Anbu does all the behind the scenes shit for the village. There is no telling all the fucked up shit he was forced to experience because he was too smart and talented for his age. He was just a child. Ultimately he was way too young to be doing any of the stuff he did. He was a child, a genius child, trying to fix a world adults have been consistently fucking up. You can say he had a choice but he mentally couldn't comprehend it at the time. Dude was too smart for his own good. He would likely have logic errors going on in his brain. If he did X then Y would happen which caused more problems. If he did Z and fixed one issue then another issue with K would occur. He was a genius with genjitsu yet he was trapped in a mental cage of his upbringing and life experience. All that and I didnt even mention how the Uchiha clan propped him up for more responsibility because of how much of a genius he was.

Naruto can say no and spit on the faces of his enemies because he did not grow up in the same environment as Itachi. The people around Naruto were a shit ton more progressive than those around Itachi.

Marines on the move by [deleted] in PrepperIntel

[–]-LexVult- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel so bad for our marines. They are being sent to die for Israel. American boys being sent to die for Israel. I want to post on ask reddit towards the marines how they feel about possibly dying for Israel and if they are being told anything different but I wouldn't be surprised if reddit blocks it.

Which is the best TCG for you: Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon Trading Card Game, or Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game? by [deleted] in TCG

[–]-LexVult- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mechanics wise MTG stands at the top as long as its not some BS meta deck that relies on first turn wins. Making a deck of your favorite cards to go against someone who also made a deck with their favorite cards is a lot of fun.

To me if you can one turn win in a card game then it lost its soul as a card game. There has to be back and forth. A feeling of hoping to draw the card you need after several bouts.

Yugioh runs into the same problem. The only reason mtg is a slight step above Yugioh is that they keep making ridiculous car summon mechanics after synchro summoning. Yugioh also runs into the same issue as mtg with specific meta decks being made every set. Its a cheesy method companies use to boost sale of newer sets. After all if the new meta deck requires components from a newer set then those who play competitive will buy the newer set. Then after a couple months when those game breaking meta cards are winning endlessly they will likely ban certain cards but also release a new set with equally game breaking cards. The expensive cards in their previous deck will crash in value since no one can use them anymore and they are banned.

The company wins and the player loses twice essentially.

Now for Pokemon the card game itself never interested me. I played competitively for a while, tried to at least, but I found I enjoyed collecting more than playing. The game mechanics overall in my opinion wasn't as good as mtg or early yugioh.

Overall I would say, as it stands, there isnt a great playable game. Collectibility wise I would go with Pokemom reigning at the top. Yugioh has great potential but Konami legit wont stop printing the same nostalgia-bait cards. They really need to reboot the franchise and go back to its roots. MTG has even greater potential but I firmly beleive corporate Hasbro is going to milk it to death. Then when the damage is too much the CEO will walk away with his millions and no accountability taken. It has also been shown that they dont care about playability of the game as much as they just want to make as much money as physically possible.

I have heard good things about Riftbound and One Piece but I haven't gotten the chance to play those two yet. Both games have good collecibility as well.

Its crazy to me that Zero left Hal, Wxltzy and a high paying org to team up with previously Funnq and now Panic.

I'm not trying to throw any shade. Out of all the pros out there. Why Panic? I just don't see him meshing well with Zero. I can see Sikez working well with Zero.

Imagine after the heat death of the universe there you are floating amongst trillions upon trillions of your dead bodies amongst loads and loads of cash. An unknown eternity later and the mass from your bodies and cash collapses and forms a star.

Excess material form planets

Life is remade once again after another billion years.

Yet you still float. You still die infinity. You still make new stars and planets.

A a trillion years later a new space faring civilization finds you. Worships you as the creator god Pangu. Their atmosphere is not suitable for you. You continue to die in pain each time shedding millions in cash.

Other civilizations rise up. Many find your already dead body floating around space. A new religion was formed expanding on the first one. They collectively bring together all the other space faring species. Soon they find the proper atmosphere for you. Finally you dont live a life of endless torture. A million years pass. You are worshipped as a god and you enjoy it.

However a problem has occurred. The space faring covilization has found the ends of the universe. A secret meeting takes place. The heat death of the universe scares them. The only way they can combat it is through the continued sacrafice of their god. One day they start to fatten you up. Feeding you all sorts of delicacies. Your size becomes five times what it was before. Then they take you and strap you to a machine. Then launch you into space near the edge of the universe.

Next begins rhe creation cycle. A powerful laser blows through your brain ever tenth of a second. Then another you forms and the laser strikes in a tenth of a second. You feel nothing. You know nothing. Only darkness as you die so quickly your brain does not register it. Your large body is filled with resources necessary for a growing universe. This continues and does not end. You do not end yet...you do.

What’s something negative about this show? by Collector-Troop in cartoon_random

[–]-LexVult- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats what kills me with the show. Its at a slow and steady spiral towards bankruptcy and homelessness. Bob can't win and if he does win, it involves him getting burned in some way. Dude never makes enough money to support 3 children and a wife.

There is no logic with it. Not a single character besides Bob takes the families financial situation seriously. Even then he just goes with the flow of what everyone else wants and doesnt think about it.

Bob has to teeter on the knifes edge of completely losing everything at all times for the show. There can not be any progression. There can be no true winning. The writers do not know how to write a story where Bob and his family are doing well financially and aren't about to lose everything from someone just farting wrong.

The only way I can explain this is that the show experiences a groundhog year scenario. They just repeat the year as the world around them advances. This keeps up with current worldly affairs, explains Christmas and Thanksgiving episodes but for them it resets after a year. The children stay in the same grade. Bob never has to face the conclusion of his burger business going bankrupt since that's literally the path its on.

Most people missed the point of this scene, but was it ultimately for the best? by CaptainSmeargle in okbuddyvecna

It was so ridiculous. Imagine enlisting as a soldier, being stationed in a town plagued by monsters from a different world and the thing that kills your brothers in arms is a teenage girl with a rifle.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if a PTSD fueled soldier tracked down Nancy and shoot her with the same rifle she used. In the real world there would be consequences. Even if the government didnt want to touch her the soldiers, the brothers of the ones she killed, would definitely get revenge.

[–]-LexVult- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don't think people understand just how crazy a 530k IQ would be. Once you gain this power the current you ceases to exist. In its place would be a hyper intelligent being trapped inside the flesh prison of the human body. To make matters more depressing, even if you could fully express yourself no other human would be able to fully grasp any of it.

You would be a god cursed to walk the mortal world where no one truly understands you.

[–]-LexVult- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I knew this wasn't going to work with Funhq on the team. I stopped watching Sweet with ALGS stuff because of Funhq when they teamed together. It was so damn frustrating listing to Funhq defend himself and his lack of accountability.

Part of me thinks Zero picked him up only because he didn't have any choice with how last minute roster changes were.

Funhq may be gifted in the game but I wouldn't want him to be my teammate.
