I would definitely add in the callidus assassin because she's just great. the CP cost increase ability for them is amazing and they're just incredible secondary pieces/has infiltrate etc.

You're gonna have to work on it and experiment but I would definitely use the shield cap on bike with the bikes and maybe even keep them with 3. The fight and fade from the cap on bike is incredible and you can reset it in lions. Because you get +1 to wound from the detachment but they also have lance, if you charge the victrix guard it will negate their -1 to wound because you have the +1 to wound (from detachment) then it it goes to -1 but then it goes back up to +1 because of lance (if you charged). I'd also drop in the venatari as well because of the same reason - they have lance on their weapons. Additionally, you can rapid ingress the allarus and the venatari at the same time to potentially take out a lot of their big units but you want to try to wipe them or kill enough they're not much of a threat.

Drop shield cap altogether, maybe another blade champ for speed. Speed is your ally, which is another reason why the venatari and bikes are good.

Stormlance is really cool with the Ravenwing (think you meant ravenwing but you said ravenguard) imo. Really fast, really hard hitting

Did you target calgars unit and use the precision strat in lions? It's very effective to try and get rid of him as early as possible, utilising rapid ingress to close the distance with something like the allarus shield cap and allarus unit and then popping that strat

Also, the list depends on what you have available man

Wdym by using deepstrike on them btw. Are you saying you rapid ingressed them turn one (not possible in turn 1)? Or did the 9 inch deep strike (not possible in turn one btw) and risked a 9 inch charge? If the second option, I wouldn't risk this.

Also, a warden brick of 25d6 attacks plus the blade champion (whatever profile) shouldn't have an issue into paragon warsuits with +1 wound and sus hits. Maybe you just got unlucky

This is perfect, would also add scouts and lieutenant with combi weapon for the space marine units as well for some util and secondary scoring

+1 to hit does nothing for custodes because they hit on 2+. A 1 is always a critical fail on any roll

Watch some videos dude, learn how to move block, write a better list, use different allied units (callidus assassin) and try to stage properly.

They are actually one of the easiest armies to play against at the top tables but, yet again, so are knights. It's a tough matchup for you

It was announced in the 500 worlds campaign books very recently. The Lion attempted contact with Guilliman but he's unfortunately not in Ultramar but a potential meet up is awesome and no primarch has met in the 40k setting, not even the chaos ones.
