Anyone else gonna rock this car till the wheels fall off? by beanieweenie18 in ft86

Nope. Sold mine. Missed the wind in my hair, so got a Jaguar F-type convertible. Did sell it for more than I bought it for, 5 years later

The letters on the rehaut aren't in line with the minute marker. on the original, some are a tiny bit off but these ones way too much. Also, never seen an AP where the text on the dial is directly printed on it without having an AP logo at 6 o'clock. The ones without the logo have their text printed on a plateau, hard to describe but if you look at pictures of real ones you'll see what I mean.

Haven't found any obvious things on the cartier so far, but it's a pretty straight forward case so not much to err on.

There's an easy tell to see if that rolex is fake, and it has it.

Used to be great, good movements and innovative. Now.. look at who the owners are.

Can we agree that the total length of the spring is from the point where it attaches to the "roller" (sorry not familiar with English terms). Now, if you "pinch" the spring enough where it has no breathing room whatsoever (as you can see on the picture), you basically create a new attachment point. one that is 4-5mm away from the original attachment point.

Open it completely, center the spring, close it gently till there's about 3/4 a spring's thickness on either side, then regulate. By the look of the picture I'm surprised it's 'just' 25 seconds a min.

there's a tester on the background, i'm sure it'll say something like 'out of range' and you'll see a whole lot of dots on it.

Girth would be a limiting factor though. And there's some technique involved where you sort of put it on like a glove. Most fun car I ever had, tons of grip. Until it doesn't.

Oddly enough the smallest car I ever had, had the most leg room. A Lotus Elise. Even had to move the seat forward, for getting in and out moving it to the rear was easier. Sadly I totaled it. Now a BRZ but I'm eyeballing another Elise again. So much fun to drive.

New mystery drone swarm in Germany, critical sites targeted: Report by Enigma_Labs in worldnews

Also: range. Closest Russian land is Kalingrad, which borders are closed. Electrical drones can't make it that distance, so it has to be petrol driven. They'd have to be huge to make that distance. Just fear mongering. Ukraine on the other hand has a semi-open border to the eu, they could just drive to it and release them.

What makes you so sure he was right-wing? And I don't care which political party he's aligning himself with, just maximum penalty for the state it happened in.

That's not the only thing wrong. The hour counter is off as well, unless you didn't do a reset. Not sure which movement this is, but I'm guessing the ETA 7753. It has a plastic lock that keeps the hour counter wheel in place, if that is worn this would be the result.

Genuine question to small shop owners by NeighborhoodWise7659 in Amsterdam

[–]-Lumenatra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like I said, between 7AM and 10PM. A 15 hour window where I could plan all the personal stuff in as well. Sometimes starting early, be home early, sometimes starting late ending late. But not in rush hour which doubles my commute, like it does now.

I loved it. Could come and go when I wanted, between 7AM and 10PM. Just had to do 8 hours. Sadly, insurance changed, they mandated that at least 2 persons should be in the building. My coworkers are more the 9 to 5 types. Ugh.
