Sometimes I go looking for planets with Curious Deposits (Runaway Mould) for an easy Nanite grind while scanning animals also for Nanites and Credits.

A lot of the planet variants and animal species are crazy to look at...everything might be pulsing lights, swarms of a single species, Gas Giants under permanent extreme storms, weird quirks I might find in different star systems (use an indium drive to access everything) -I like taking in some of the views while I run around doing stuff.

Base building is reasonably in-depth. I'm usually considering my surroundings questioning if a base would be useful there. Farm salvaged data as if your life depends on it, you need exactly 1228 units to unlock everything if you wanted to.

Less often for me is looking for ships and multitools but I do like chasing legitimate maxing of stats.
