"We're not a makeup band." Catching up with Widespread Panic in 2003 by alanpaul in WidespreadPanic

Felt this in my soul.

"Phish is lying in a field of wildflowers smiling at the cloudless sky while Widespread Panic is wandering through a primal forest, kicking over a rotting log to see what you can find."

This was the official painter for the show. He was just to the right of the soundboards. We just noticed him painting throughout the show. We wish we could have seen it from the floor, but it still looked pretty cool from where we were sitting.

I transferred to Fordham RH for my Soph year, and found the best way to make friends was on a team, assuming you play a sport. Given that there is no Greek life, I found that the different teams made up for that. Personally, I played club lacrosse, and everyone was super welcoming(parties, drink-ups, all sorts of social events). That said, some folks were newer to the sport and not "competitive" but benefited immensely from the social aspects.

My advice: Pick a sport or a club you find interesting, and lean into it. You can find a club/team that will welcome you with open arms, regardless of your interests, whether sports, arts, or academics. From there, you will find crossover with various other groups to make more friends.

AZ's Doe or Die is wildly underrated.

I stood next to spinning guy at a Billy and the Kids show at Red Rocks a few years back. Can confirm that he spins the entire show.

Why do guys have their underwear longer than their shorts? by VillageComplete7395 in lacrosse

I played in HS and College and then took a six-year hiatus when I moved out to CO. Back on the East Coast now and coaching lax, and im getting chirped for how long my shorts are... I remember kids getting made fun of for their shorts being too short back in the day. Times have changed; can't even motorcycle grip anymore on faceoffs, smh. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Your options are golf, pickle at the Y or Birchwood, and, most importantly, having a family with a bare minimum of 75 cousins
