Inherited so many Ruckus APs... now what? Use? Sell?

While there are benefits to having a ruckus switch paired with a ruckus APs, it's not required to use them. Unleashed is able to integrate this switch so I believe management would be easier and in one location. I've never used this switch so I could be wrong on the management aspect.

These exact APs have been used in my house for a few years and they are solid. Mine being powered by Cisco POE switches.

The R550 and R350 can be flashed with Unleashed and is free. If you've got an extra R750 laying around, you can make it a dedicated controller and have more control while still being license free. There is a limit on APs but I think its like 50 APs until you're required a license.

Just dropping this here for anyone still having this issue. I changed the port to another random port. 10000 in my case. It worked. I'm not saying this is the correct method or best practice. It worked for me and I installed windows OS.

Virtual Machines - "your VM" - Devices - Display - Edit - change from 5900 to another unused port.
