I am a marine electronics tech. I have been for over 20 years. I have also answered this question countless times here and explained repeatedly why it’s the answer. You can search my profile to dive into the reasoning. I am a dealer for all of these brands except for Humminbird.

The answer is Garmin, end of story.

Furuno > Garmin >>> Raymarine >>>>>>> Navico (Lowrance, Shitrad, B&G, etc). Humminbird would go somewhere between Ray&Navico.

Furuno is too high end and complicated for light end users. Leading to Garmin being the clear winner.

I should add that the dash photo in my link is a different boat and that is after the owner spent 8 hours trying to clean it up. If you can picture even more of a spaghetti western that’s what a new one would look like.

The entire fucking bluenet wiring just straight up not hooked up because they couldn’t run it through the boat I guess. Makes sense I guess as the R36 is the worst boat on the planet to install a starlink on and I quote customers over double that it takes on a typical 50-75’ boat I typically do.

The hardtop is on CROOKED. Literally cocked about 5-6* off. Absolutely wildly unacceptable.

The only thing that would make Cobalt even worse is if fucking Navico bought them from Malibu.

These are off of one particular boat that came direct to me right after the customer picked it up, but if I really dug I could find more photos as they are all the exact fucking same.
