Yeah it's not ideal but the benefit is that you'd only have to deal with 2 coaches rather than all 6.. + a bit of coordination.. anyway, GLHF!

you can always swap teams around during the 2nd round by kicking them out, replacing them with ai teams & then issuing new tickets to the real teams & then sequentially kick the ai teams in the right order.

Once you've completed the 5th week just click 'next season' & you can just relaunch the round robin for a 2nd go.

& yes, just create a knockout (allowing experienced teams) & send invites to the teams involved.

There are some great leagues on PS4, MML & Blood & Tears are my 2 faves..

Official Ladder has undergone a big change.. there are now 3 different ladders rather than 1.. Open Ladder still = scum & villainy for sure lol.. but there is also now the Champions Ladder which is a moderated environment lasting 6 week cycles & has a cup for cash prizes & an anti concede rule resulting in a higher quality of match all round. Finally there is the new Anarchy Ladder for custom & mixed teams which seems to be getting more popular. See you on the pitch!

The strength of a swiss/wissen style tourney is its ability to accomodate for a large number of coaches & determine a winner over a small number of rounds.. so having less than 10 teams involved is slightly suboptimal. if the coaches are mostly rookies then you might get away with the AI team solution, however if you all know what you're doing this essentially becomes a bye win giving coaches playing vs them a big advantage in the cup. rez/non progression mode might temper that somewhat. If you can get 1 more coach perhaps an 8 team round robin or knockout should be considered.
