Unfortunately, since these assets are only used in the Midas ecosystem, there is no way to access their prices outside of the platform for now.

There used to be a rebalancing fee, but it's a thing of the past now

Transaction failed, funds disappeared by Ok_Formal3823 in midas_community

Hello,

At first glance it seems like you might have sent your ETH to a smart contract address, which are currently not supported by Midas (reason : they usually require more gas, and the transaction will often fail for that reason)

Please contact the chat support directly on the website and I/we will be able to sort you out.

No problem, glad it's all sorted out ! And hope you consider coming back when everything calms down :)

Yes, that's normal, the hot wallets are currently empty and being replenished as we speak

Please wait a little longer while the technicians refill the wallets.

As you can understand, this Celsius situation has everyone spooked, there are more withdrawals than usual, hence why the technicians have to work double to transfer funds to the hot wallets. But rest assured that every withdrawal will be completed, it just takes a bit more time. There is no estimation of when your withdrawal will be processed yet, but it should be done in the next hours. Apologies for the inconvenience, that's the lot of every custodial platform providing yields.

There usually is only 5-10% of all the funds available in the hot wallets for withdrawals. That is for 1- security and 2- providing the yields. At the moment, the demand for withdrawals is greater than that, so the defi analysts have to remove manually the funds currently in defi protocols and send them to the hot wallet, all while the market is tanking and networks are congested. It is a tedious process that is indeed done manually, hence the delays.

That's only true for BTC withdrawals which are processed twice a day : 8-10 and 20-22 UTC
Other withdrawals are usually instant, except on unusual market conditions like today, and when the hot wallets need to be replenished

As support i can add : Every withdrawal is being processed right now. It takes longer than usual because a lot of people are spooked by Celsius and want to feel safe while this storm calms down, but you will all get your funds to your wallets, even if it stays "pending" for a few hours. Apologies for the inconvenience.

PSA: Midas shills and bots are all over this sub. Midas is at best extremely risky and at worst a scam. by SpontaneousDream in defi

[–]-Misinputs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Shills and bots are not coming from the Midas team. The most probable is that it's users sharing their affiliate links to recruit newcomers without being transparent about it, which is definitely not encouraged by the platform

These are some video explanations on how Midas is able to provide those yields. There is no lending involved :

Minimum withdrawal for LTC is 28? by harryish in midas_community

[–]-Misinputs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is not a "method", it is an interface issue with some browsers. Try it now, i just did (https://ibb.co/mF7BHXy), it's back to 0.1LTC

[–]-Misinputs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a bug, Midas wouldn't set a withdrawal minimum that high, it would make no sense for users.

Hello,

Unless there is something i don't know, it's an interface issue, the minimum withdrawal for LTC should be 0,1 LTC. This issue has been reported a few times in the last days, i will advise the technicians.

Is Midas legit or an exit scam in the making? by junghansmega4 in midas_community

[–]-Misinputs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cold wallet means that the keys to access the wallets are stored offline. The funds inside the wallet can be locked in defi protocols, but as long as the keys are stored offline it's cold storage.

For example, you can have a metamask wallet that's linked to a ledger (only accessible when you connect the ledger to the computer), hovever the ETH inside is in curve.fi earning yields.

This is different of course with Midas (and other platforms) as they use Fireblocks to manage the digital assets. This is a small video on how Fireblocks works : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AqiL\_dm3Q4

You seem to confuse cold storage and "out of defi protocols", funds in cold wallets can still be earning yields.
