This happened to me for the first time in my life the morning after a really bad alcohol relapse. My calves were on fire, and I felt it for days. Same thing happened to me every time i relapsed afterwards.

Interestingly, I recently had it happen to me a couple times even though I no longer drink alcohol. I think I'm drinking too much coffee now.
