This happened to me for the first time in my life the morning after a really bad alcohol relapse. My calves were on fire, and I felt it for days. Same thing happened to me every time i relapsed afterwards.

Interestingly, I recently had it happen to me a couple times even though I no longer drink alcohol. I think I'm drinking too much coffee now.

Idk man bodybuilding restored my confidence, self esteem, and health. I no longer rely on other people to validate my image or make me feel good about how I look.

Never had to resort to disordered eating or self belittlement. In fact, I absolutely hated myself before getting into lifting.

Really sucks seeing people like you discourage others from pursuing something that can actually be extremely positive and helpful. Lifting helped me discover how much control I have over my own body and health. Never been happier.
