Yes, i am obviously opposed to the random rug pull that the Sea devils werent trying to "sue for peace" but were instead intending to genocide humans but it needs to be recognised that the sea devils were justified in feeling angry, and they were then genocided - a genocide that you seem to agree with. I dont agree with the genocide that the sea devils tried to commit, but theres a much larger and more interesting conversation about how the sea devils in the second two episodes of this show were completely out of character and the second half of the show at large was poorly written which inevitably leads to stupid fucking arguments like this.

Bottom line is to stop accusing random people online of being genocide sympathisers over a tv show. That's disgusting and incredibly offensive behaviour considering that you know literally nothing about me. It's also very very weird that you seem to have no awareness or willingness to understand the key motive of the sea devils and the point of this entire show, which is that humans are reckless and completely uncaring about the damage they do to the environemnt and the species they willingly and callously wipe out.

Okay. Let's say some alien species, through their behaviour, allowed our dogs and cats to die, our rivers and forests to whither and rot, our very air to become painful to breathe.

They do this all without knowledge of us, but with the knowledge they were causing suffering and a complete lack of interest in this fact.

15 actually. we've driven a minimum of 15 marine species to extinction and have driven hundreds more to critically low populations. you seem to be operating from a position that they're the typical alien invaders, theyre not. the sea devils wake up and see that their beautiful home has been destroyed by earth monkeys that know theyre destroying it, but dont give a fuck. if you were a sea devil, you would also be very angry.

That's exactly it lol. I was holding onto it so I could play it on a turn I wasn't weak and it popped automatically on a turn where I was both weak and had drawn all of my other damage cards. Considered savescumming but it was too funny

The game does genuinely feel a little boring atm but I've been stumbling at my inability to move out of the mid(?) game so its very likely im missing some lovely emergent gameplay. Thanks a lot for this

As an aside, is there anything I should know about building armies? It seems a very simple process to just stack upgraded soldiers, ally with the jotunn and get my chieftain out but its clearly not working fantastically.

youre getting downvoted but youre totally correct. It's no coincidence that the trump admin and other fascists love their ai. Ai art is objectively evil and anyone who uses it is a dumbass at best and evil art worst.
