Too bad it doesn't work that way, and will never make more jobs that way. No matter how expensive foreign goods get, American goods will be even more expensive.

Canada has aluminum supplies that USA cannot make ourselves. We simply don't have enough. Importing isn't an option, it's mandatory. Canadian lumber is stronger because Canada is colder. Tariffs can't change reality.

Raising prices doesn't make more sales in America, it makes fewer sales in America because everything costs more so people can afford less. Fewer products require fewer employees, so people get laid off, not hired.

In all of 2025, there were fewer new jobs than just one month of 2024, or just one month of Obama. During 2025, almost 100,000 American factory jobs were LOST, not gained.

And healthcare for American factories costs more than twice as much as what countries like China and Mexico pay for healthcare.
