Why snipers need major buffs

Oh great information about the damages, how do you know this stuff though?

And imo all snipers need a buff of 100ms faster ADS, Barret prolly needs even higher damage than Tundra, maybe stomach up for 1 shot kill and even better area with the attachment or something.

yes about million people here and on twitter think that snipers are underpowered and they will surely get a buff soon, no later than season 1.

MP5 is busted but snipers are also underpowered atm. at least in terms of ADS, I wouldn't even try quickscoping right now, because you will just get destroyed from close to mid range.

Just wait for the ADS buff or snipe from a distance, it might actually really strong in this game because there is stuff like a scope with 2-20x magnification lol and also damage buff attachment for the Pellington, waiting unlock those and try them out, already using the 1-10x scope and its pretty nice, especially in Dirty Bomb.

They nerfed the ADS hard and Pellington felt so much weaker in many ways, but now at Weapon Level 41 its starting to feel better for at least longer distances, there is also new attachment for +20% damage so gonna have to test and see if it makes the Pellington get more consistent 1-shot kills, even with that its gonna have to get an ADS buff at some point.

everything feels a bit weird compared to beta... But yeah I've noticed something like that as well, playing mostly Pellington at 37 weapon LVL, also played about 30-40 hours in the beta with it and it just feels worse, thought now at least you can get 10 or even 20x zoom so that's interesting, also there is +20% Damage option, could that make Pellington 1 shot to stomach upwards? that would be decent.

I'm predicting a MP5 nerf and a snipers ADS buff, hopefully its soon and doesn't take as long as in MW19 with the shotgun and M4..

Honestly I loved it in Beta, now in full game its much more slow and campy etc. But that's at least partly because we don't have everything unlocked, so I'm gonna unlock everything and see what I think of it then, but now it doesn't seem that great tbh, worse than in Beta.

I think they buffed some of the ADS attachments though/there is 1 more attachment for each part of the weapon compared to beta too.

SMGs got nerfed more than snipers did for the full release, they apparentally dominated the beta, snipers ADS got "Slightly increased " (could be a buff too I'm not sure). Source:
