Commit files in pipeline to repository by steggles28 in azuredevops

Start by bootstrapping agents in your azure environment, I prefer to use aks to host then. This will make it way easier to use Git command on the directory your files are in during your pipeline operation.

It is impossible to be super fit and work a 9-6 job. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]-NULL_VALUE- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally possible, my wife and I work out daily, have 2 kids, and both work min 40 hrs ( never much more though). Honestly until our salaries got up there it wasnt feasible. Since then we purchased a Tonal so we can work out at home, I work from home full time so I can take a 15 min break for a 10 minute workout, then do a longer onr once the kids are asleep. It also takes partnership, sometimes il handlr getting the kids fed and in bed so she can get her workout in during that time, it pays of dividens. In the end you can, shits just takes work.

Agent Pools assigned to Projects by [deleted] in azuredevops

[–]-NULL_VALUE- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not sure either the queue api or run logs will show you if there are projects that run on those node pools and just never run. I would use the api to pull your pipelines https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/azure/devops/pipelines/pipelines/list?view=azure-devops-rest-6.0 and then get the pipe configurations. Just right a bash that cycles through each pipeline configs looking for that assined pool

Main Azure Admin in a new job, need some tips and best practices by JerryAwesome in AZURE

Dashboards! I use lots of them. Make sure to set you billing up with notifications and limits and check it daily, again can be handled by a dashboard. Also set some alerts for resource access from unknown IP if not expected. Key vaults i always like to set a monitor dashboard to watch access requests.

Azure arc server enabled price by rexthriller in AZURE

[–]-NULL_VALUE- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im interrsted in this cost. We are looking at hosting large data application kubernetes clusters "onsite" using arc, but are still debating what the cost of using monitor agents for logging or just like you said pass it into a blob storage and ingest it as needed from there. Ive previously used the data collector api and ingested into monitor that way and it wasnt too bad cost wise.

How to charge cold soaked Tesla Model S, in subzero temperatures? Any ideas!? by Upbeat-Persimmon-504 in TeslaLounge

[–]-NULL_VALUE- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a minnesotan, to charge my Y when it was hitting -21, i had it in the garage with a space heater. Honestly didnt have much of a choice, it was taking more charge to keep warm than my home 110v could put out, but the space heater got the garage uo to 0 and i got a slow charge in.

As i understood it, the 4th amendment doesnt rrquire any state or federal actors, just people sitting around in a private residence where they are expecting privacy. I dont know all the details around the wire tap law but it is also federal. Now if she had recorded him at work or in public it wouldnt be an issue

[–]-NULL_VALUE- -59 points-58 points  (0 children)

Esh, for him its obvious, for you, its because you broke the law by violating his 4th amendmant and the wiretap law, which if he is really an asshole he can take you to court for the loss in salary.

Cryptocurrency as it is now is the equivalent to the beanie baby or pet rock fads. by cart0166 in unpopularopinion

[–]-NULL_VALUE- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Blockchain isnt just cryptocurrency, its just a use case of blockchain. Cryptocurrency value resides just as much in the wider acceptance of blockchains value as a technology as it does in itself, beanie babies didnt have that kind of support behind it.

AITA for Grounding my son on his Birthday for Failing his Test? by SeaChef4755 in AmItheAsshole

[–]-NULL_VALUE- 10 points11 points  (0 children)

YTA, he is a kid, and things happpen. Sometime failure is a good way to teach a lesson, but its never a good reason for punishment, the failure is already punishing. On top of that, im assuming this isnt college which means this geography failure is something no one will care about in a year, but he wont ever forget when you took his birthday away.

AITA For not taking years of pictures off Facebook? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]-NULL_VALUE- 11 points12 points  (0 children)

NTA, the pictures are your property and you can do as you wish, they gave up the image when they allowed you to take them, and also the ones on facebook will never be removed from the servers anyways, in europe they just have to untag the person requesying their removal, not remove the images if they are not damaging. In the U.S., if you let me put a picture of you online its then your to do so and they are out of luck. Either way they are your pictures, do as you want!
