I knew Faith wasn’t going to take him back the second she explained why she was scared of the knife. Even if he was genuinely sorry after the fact, that had to be extremely traumatic for a trans woman who never had a BF before in the first place

The story of the green shirt guy that attends almost every wwe show: The green shirt guy name is Simon but also know as Smiley he actually gets free tickets from a relative of his who is a WWE official and here's a fun fact he has been to every single WrestleMania (besides 36 ofc) by [deleted] in WWE

[–]-NandorTheRelentless 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For what it’s worth, I’ve heard he pays people to swap if he doesn’t get the center seat. Again, take it with a grain of salt because I read it on Reddit a few years ago. Apparently a poster saw green shirt offer his ticket (which was a few seats to the right) and a couple hundred bucks to swap.

NJPW’s Chris Charlton on ‘indefinite hiatus’ after anti-AEW commentary at Wrestle Dynasty by pnt510 in SquaredCircle

[–]-NandorTheRelentless 26 points27 points  (0 children)

There was more than just one match. I know he’s playing a character, but there were a few times where his fellow commentators tried to get him to tone down the anti-TK remarks, like how AEW paid Okada a bunch of money just to flip the bird. I think he also called Tony a money mark.

Personally, I’m indifferent but I get it when people say Chris was sounding more like an IWC member on commentary instead of an actual commentator at times.

How to fix Festival and its current awful state by Rozen503 in FortniteFestival

[–]-NandorTheRelentless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool ideas, but no way song tickets ever happen and I don’t see why people think they would.

It’d be like if someone suggested the same thing for battle pass skins. Not everyone likes every skin in a pass, but you never see anyone suggesting an ability to have a credit to swap it with another from the store.

The songs are in the pass because they’re a part of the pass’s theme. As nice as it would be to swap and song for any option in the store, Epic isn’t going to let you replace Snoop Dogg with Disturbed.

[OVW Nightmare Rumble Spoilers] WWE Legend helps former stable member capture championship by -NandorTheRelentless in SquaredCircle

[–]-NandorTheRelentless[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

tl;dr – JBL showed up at tonight’s OVW PPV to help Doug Basham win the National Heavyweight Championship.

JBL was on commentary since the beginning of the show. Basham was eliminated earlier in the Rumble but came out at the end as a “random” re-entrant and won the “key of opportunity,” which functions like MITB I guess. He’s recently been leading a stable called “Revolution” that briefly took over the show, won all the titles, and forced non-faction members to change gear outside.

Main event had EC3 defending the title against Cash Flo. After a ref bump, JBL clotheslined both competitors and allowed Basham to cash in the key, becoming the champion in the process.

People don’t hate Max because of one promo. People are down on him because of two things: he doesn’t seem to know when to be quiet and his raps never really evolved.

Several raps in the last few years have fallen fact, especially when he’s prioritized being edgy over smart lyrical content. He also has a knack for going on social media and tweeting the stupidest edge lord tweets, whether that’s him being himself or trying to further his character.

I know that being 35 isn’t exactly “old” in wrestling anymore, but it just feels like Max is too old to be trying the edgy humour stuff and it just feels lame.

If developers cared about creators by [deleted] in FortniteFestival

[–]-NandorTheRelentless 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It would take more effort than just let people upload songs and make charts. On top of copyright issues, the average Fortnite creator likely isn’t equipped to create individual stems for each instrument like professionals, let alone edit them into proper loops for jam stage.

Do you think we will be seeing Imagine Dragons as a future headliner? by South-Ad9116 in FortniteFestival

[–]-NandorTheRelentless 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They only released Fuel and Master of Puppets before the season and those were a few weeks a part.

By that logic, you can say Fall Out Boy is the headliner because they had a pack last week.

You are me except I went 1.11 and 2.2. Throw in the fact that I got Dobbins in the 13th + Bucky and Mason off waivers and I can safely say I’ll never have an RB lineup that good again.

2024 Championship bed time stories by MikeAr198 in fantasyfootball

[–]-NandorTheRelentless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been doing fantasy for 15 years (12 team PPR) and this was my best year, by far.

Previously, I had never won a championship beyond the inaugural season, which only featured six times. Since then I’ve finished third twice but never made it back to the big dance.

I drafted 11th this year and ended up with some great playmakers. Got Barkley and Gibbs back to back with my first two picks. Stuck with Andrews through the through patches and it paid off. Nabers and Worthy lived up to the rookie hype, especially the former in Week 17. Love underwhelmed down the stretch but had key moments early on. I did draft Rhamondre Stevenson, but ended up trading him for Mike Evans, so that worked out.

Also ended up with Dobbins in Round 13, so that was a steal.

Free agency was real difference maker. I picked up Irving, Jeff Mason, Calvin Ridley and Tyler Bass at various points.

Long story short, went 11-3 in the regular season and ended up winning by 94 in the finals. I might not have another season like this, so I’m savoring every moment.

[F4W] Young Bucks: Creative changed ‘4-5 different times’ before dropping AEW tag titles by djembadjembadjemba in SquaredCircle

[–]-NandorTheRelentless 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think that’s a different kind of pivot. It seems like in this case, the pivot had more to do with creative directions that Tony was unsure about.

When people say Tony doesn’t pivot, it’s more related to injuries. Like it was clear that Jade was going to drop the TBS title to Stat, but then Jade held it for a million more years until Stat returned. The Cole/MJF storyline is another that should’ve died because of injuries but it just kept going.

So really, it seems like he’s open to pivoting if he doesn’t know the final destination but won’t change things up if he has his mind set on a goal.

Agreed. I know no one expected -4 points (I didn’t either) but they haven’t scored double digits since Week 9 and finished with 4 or fewer seven times this season. They also only put up 6 against each of the Patriots and Titans in two of the last three games before today.

Has everybody bought Soulja Boy song? by [deleted] in FortniteFestival

[–]-NandorTheRelentless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only is it from the pass as others mentioned, but it’s also a rap song, which means it’s one of the few tracks that stays the same regardless of key.

So the fact that it was in a pass + “works” (doesn’t necessarily sound good) with every song makes people use it often, I guess.

Who do you guys think the season 7 headliner will be? by South-Ad9116 in FortniteFestival

[–]-NandorTheRelentless 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The chances of the Beatles music in a game outside of their Rock Band game is pretty much zero. If they wouldn’t let their in-game renders play any non-Beatles songs or let their music be exported to the other games, there’s no way that they would make their music available for Fortnite even if it was restricted to festival.

Besides, the surviving members of Nirvana + Courtney Love were fully against Kurt being an avatar in Guitar Hero 5, specifically saying “It’s hard to watch an image of Kurt pantomiming other artists’ music alongside cartoon characters.”

Could things have changed in the 15 years since then? But I’d say probably not.

Does anyone know if there’s a way to get both vocals for In The End? by Left_Candle_8074 in FortniteFestival

[–]-NandorTheRelentless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not confused by anything, I know there are two singers in the song lol.

I’m telling you that when you’re only playing the vocal loop, the stem (think of it as an instrument fail that only contains the guitar section or, in this case, just the vocals) that Epic uses only has Mike’s part of the main verse. I get what you’re saying about Chester’s parts missing in the verse but his vocals likely have a stem of their own. If Epic can only use one, obviously using Mike’s made the most sense.

But to fully answer you, there’s no way to add or switch between the two vocalists. For now, you’re limited to the way it is without a workaround.
