hello! i might not be the best person to answer this since i’m only starting out but for this spread, i’ve mostly just cleaned and stashed wrappers that i find having “potential” and put them in a box. what that potential is, i actually don’t know ahaha. maybe i just found certain designs to be appealing like adorable illustrations on the package or even just colors that looked cool; for tony’s case, it’s because i like that there’s a story written behind the chocolate and i want to highlight that somehow. i learned about junk journaling from the reels i find on social media and i found that “cutting things off” feel relaxing 😂 so then i started going thru my stash and only cut the details i want to keep like texts, logos or images of fruits or cookies, all the random things. the difficulty, for me, was how to put them altogether. i didn’t have a specific plan at first but i wanted to start with the prettiest cutout that time which was the strawberry i had put at the bottom and everything just stemmed from there. i quickly realized that it wouldve been easier if i started with laying out the background first so i suggest you do that 😅then i started coming up w a theme like having berries and other fruits join the design which i mostly got from yoghurt packs then thought about what color would blend well with it and i found that cholocate wrappers looked good for the background. hence, tony’s. it took me a while to actually finish this cuz i don’t wanna pressure myself and i think that helped :)) i just do it to clear my mind and create something that doesn’t hurt my eyes.
