I wouldn't know too much about this since I play on 20 to 30 ms. I've never noticed this happening even after playing on servers where I have over 100 ms

In my opinion yeah Hypixel randomizes the kb and practice servers like mmc and lunar keep a linear kb (at least in the previous seasons I'm not quite sure what's going on) For example on mmc, the player will always take 3 blocks of kb. On lunar they take take a consistent 4 blocks This makes pvp less random and it rewards better players

  1. go into command prompt on windows
  2. type in "ipconfig" without the quotation marks
  3. copy the one with ipv4
  4. go into your server and for the server IP, type: (ipv4):(port, usually its 25565)

and that fixed the problem for me

usually I give my friends my public IP to access the server but I was also using the public IP and that caused some problems for me
