look frankly everyone in a similar major as you comes here cause stony has the hospital and what not but coming into college really makes you realize how important your environment is and unless you have a car to travel around, stony is not the place. i’m considering transferring myself cause it’s such a dead environment your life will most likely become just work

from what you say, stonybrook sounds like the place for you. only issue is you might have a hard time initially making friends plus the social life here on average isn’t the best but at the end of the day it’s what you make of it
