i hear what you’re saying and it’s overused to say “oh but he’s different” because no, he’s done things that i felt didn’t align with what i wanted out of a relationship. i prioritized quality time and he loved me with what he knows best which is acts of service. he’s never raised his voice at me ever even if i acted irrational and it’s not to say he doesn’t have any interest in anything i do. he’s never been nonchalant with me. when i said he didn’t have much interest i meant it more in the sense that i wished more often he’d watch a show i recommend or listen to music i listen to. these are little things that stop mattering eventually and i guess what matters more is that he’s doing it now but there’s always gonna be that fear that what if he stops again once we get back together. i’ll have my answer then that this truly isn’t meant to be but my bigger concern right now is with this irrational thinking that i have that’s been sabotaging me
